Terms of Use

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Khwahish. By creating an account, you confirm that you are of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

2. Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must provide accurate information during registration. One account per person — duplicate accounts will be terminated. Your mode selection (Dating/Matrimonial/Private/Discreet) is permanent and cannot be changed.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
  • Share explicit, offensive, or illegal content
  • Use the platform for commercial solicitation or spam
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures or rate limits
  • Create fake profiles or impersonate others
  • Share contact information before the designated step
  • Screenshot or record private mode content

4. Subscription & Payments

Premium subscription costs ₹199/month (regular) or ₹499/month (private). Step 1 (Vibe + Background info) is always free. Payments are processed securely via Razorpay. Subscriptions auto-expire after 30 days with a 10-day grace period.

5. Matches & Interactions

Khwahish uses a stepwise matching system. Both users must independently accept at the decision step for contact sharing. We do not guarantee matches, compatibility, or outcomes. AI features (smart matching, icebreakers, compatibility scores) are assistive tools, not guarantees.

6. Video Calls

Video calls are limited to 10 minutes (regular), 30 minutes (parents meet), or 30 minutes (private mode). Recording video calls is strictly prohibited. Video calls use WebRTC with TURN servers for connectivity.

7. Privacy & Safety

Chat messages are end-to-end encrypted. Private mode profiles are anonymous until both users consent to reveal identities. Users can block and report others at any time. Reported users are reviewed by our team.

8. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, bio, messages). By uploading, you grant Khwahish a license to display it within the platform. We do not use your content for advertising or share it externally.

9. Account Termination

You can delete your account anytime from Profile → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon deletion, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days.

10. Limitation of Liability

Khwahish is provided "as is". We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform, interactions with other users, or decisions made based on AI recommendations. Always exercise caution when meeting people in person.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of India.
